| Alright, this post is for the showing and such of properly steampunk attire. I sadly have nothing but a makeshift monogoggle and a manic smile. I hope people who have deeper pockets than i will post pictures of themselves and their outfits, be it for every day use or just a costume for every now and again. | |

| With a smile like that, people will want to put you away regardless of your attire. Positively spiffing use of a wristwatch. I take it that the clockwork fell victim to rampant tinkering? Oh yes, and this is now a sticky. | |

| Yes, I must admit my guilt, the watch fell pray to my tinkering.
Thank you for sticky-ing this thread, i hope you aprove of my name for it. I just never liked the equivilent in the steampunk forume, "Playing dress-up" it never sounded quite right to me. | |

| Spelling of the name fixed. Ah yes. Playing dress-up - serious business, akin to the Morris dance. | |

| Do we have a similar adhesive topc for the ladies' auxilary? The distaff members might wish to contribute examples of their efforts or items that have caught their attention. I must say that the lads who have shared their images so far have made an excellent begining. What better inauguration than the visages of gentlemen straight out of an Austinian fevre dream and a glimpse of ocular mechanisms to boot!. | |

| This is pretty much my usual attire on a day to day basis, regardless on whether I leave or not. Hahahh.. Yes, so I digress. On to the photos. - Spoiler:
I love this waistcoat. Green suede. It is delightful. And about the makeup remains.. Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was going for a combination between The Joker and Martyn Jacques of the Tiger Lilles. It looked something like this. http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/56/l_d1e5d46cd8b44cf8b5c50bdf9045f081.jpgBut again, I digress. A clockwork gentleman as myself would be lost without his hats, goggles and watches. One last thing, and I'm done being a show-off. Sorry. Haha It goes without saying, being the captain of an airship requires asskicking boots. And thus, The Asskickers. Now, that's it.

| I think that thing in the second pic is a thoughtmeter, tuned to give alert if the brain pressure exceeds a certain level. Can't be too careful with a magnificent brain like that. | |
