Well, in my household we celebrate Christmas and there was much rejoicing as the gifts were opened this morning. I got army surplus cold weather gear, new boots, and Hellboy II. How was everyone else's winter holiday of choice?

Mine was quite delightful. I wound up with a small bottle of Absinthe a friend smuggled in and some various absinthe artifacts, a couple of steamy novels, The Scarring Party's Come Away From The Light album, a new iPod (finally), some random steamy artifacts and a lovely collage/portrait/framed art thing my grand-aunt made. Pictures don't do it justirce, but here's one anyway.

My, that collage is fantastic! I forgot in my other post one of the gifts I received was a new wrist watch, auto-winding, skeleton frame too which is nice, I like being able to see all the wonderful insides.

My mom is pagan, so we always let her plan out everything according to her choice. We always wait until one second past midnight on Christmas Day to open presents, because technically it's not Christmas Eve anymore, etc. We go to family's houses to eat on Eve, and on Day we have snacks, no real food. And then we call cousins and ask what they got and go play with them. Cranberry Mold is a tradition apparently....
