I'm like an electronic designer (a "diploma mill" engineer) by trade and a crackpot inventor and mad scientist (IT"S ALIVE!!!) by avocation.

A decade or so ago, "computer science" started sucking up all the geeks and turning them into software weenies, with no idea how to make the somatic tangible.

I'd like to help the surviving 'hardware-inclined' explore the real part of electronics. ("Object oriented", is that a fetish thing? If it isn't real, well, what are you wiggling your digits on?).

Software doesn't run in a vacuum; like a zombie, it needs a body to live.
Let's make crude (yet effective) zombies together, and discuss the process publicly, before the world knows how serious we are.

I was origionally trained as an electician, but moved into electronics, then as many others into software, never really excelled at any, but a bit a " Jill of all trades"

'Jill's rock!
Lack of 'Jills' was the chief reason I abandoned my initial training in electronics....
